The paper assesses your command of the WR subject matter across all 10 modules, together with the facilitation, assessment, professional and inclusive-practice competencies set out in the WR Trainer Competency Framework (TC1–TC12).

The Entrepreneurship and Business Skills course introduces youths who are potential entrepreneurs to the business world through mindset change, equipping them with skills and competencies that enable them to identify, analyse, and seize business opportunities.

Life skills equip learners with practical abilities needed for personal growth, effective communication, and workplace success.  Focuses on developing self-awareness, confidence, teamwork, problem solving decision making and professional conduct.

The module not only prepares learners to work well in classroom trades but also to interact responsibly in the workplace and community.

Value Addition and Marketing of Farm Products focuses on how farmers and agribusinesses improve the quality, appearance, and usefulness of their produce so it can attract more customers and earn better income. Instead of selling raw products straight from the farm, activities like cleaning, grading, packaging, processing (e.g., turning milk into yogurt or cassava into flour), and branding are done to make the products more appealing and longer lasting.

Engine Management is a practical and technical course designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills required to understand, diagnose, maintain, and troubleshoot modern automotive engine management systems. The course introduces learners to the principles of electronic engine control and how various sensors, actuators, control units, and fuel and ignition systems work together to achieve efficient engine performance.

Hairdressing, Design and Care refers to the art, science and practice of styling, Cutting and maintaining hair to enhance appearance and health. It combines creativity with technical knowledge of hair structure and scalp health.

This module is for all year two students in building construction. this module introduces learners to the fundamental concepts, techniques, and applications of painting in both artistic and practical contexts. It equips students with the knowledge and skills required to prepare surfaces, select appropriate painting materials, and apply different painting methods effectively.

Learners will explore various types of paints, including water-based and oil-based paints, and understand their properties, uses, and advantages. The module also covers essential tools and equipment such as brushes, rollers, and spray guns, including their care and maintenance.

In addition, students will gain hands-on experience in surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, priming, and filling, which are crucial for achieving a high-quality finish. Different painting techniques such as brushing, rolling, and spraying will be demonstrated and practiced.

The module further emphasizes safety practices, proper handling of materials, and environmental considerations in painting activities. By the end of the module, learners will be able to carry out painting tasks professionally, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and adherence to safety standards.
